Hlawga Wildlife National Park : Ayeyawaddy Bulbul, Racket-tailed Treepie, Rosy Minivet, Forest Wagtail, Greater Coucal, Ruby-cheeked Sumbirds, Olive-backed Sunbirds, Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker, White-throated and Common Kingfisher, Lesser Whistling Duck, Common Moorhen, Red-wattled Lapwing, Oriental Darter, Little Cormorants, Great Cormorants, Asia Openbill, Coppersmith Barbet, Green-billed Malkoha, Greater and Lesser Racket-tailed Drongon, White-rumped Shama, Black-crested Bulbul, Red-whiskered Bulbul, Red-vented Bulbul, Stripe-throated Bulbul and Black-headed Bulbuls. 

Bagan : Bagan is special area of Myanmar endemic species as White-throated Babbler, Burmese Bushlark, Jerdon’s Minivet, Hooded Treepie, Burmese Collared-Dove, Ayeyarwaddy Bulbul and Burmese Prinia. Other key birds are Laggar Falcons, Yellow-eyed Babbler, Long-billed Pipit, Vinous-breasted Myna, Brown Prinia, Streak-eared Bulbul and Eurasian Collared Dove, Burmese Shrike. Rain Quail, Barred Button Quail, Chinese Francolin, Plain-backed, Russet and house Sparrows, Sported Owlet and Barn Owl and Indian Nightjar. Common and Jungle Mynas, Green and Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Common Hoopoe and Indian Roller.

Ayeyarwaddy : White-tailed Stonechat, Sand Lark, Plovers, Wood Sandpiper, Temminck's Stints, White Wagtail, Yellow Wagtail, Citrine Wagtails, Grey-headed and Red-wattled Lapwings. Pied Kingfisher, Common Kingfisherm, White-throated Kingfishers, Pied Harrier, Eastern and Western Marsh-harriers and any other Raptors, Small Prantincole, Oriental Pratincoles, Great Cormorants, Indian Spot-billed Ducks, Ruddy Shelduck, Oriental Skylark, Striated Babbler are very commend on Ayeyarwaddy river. Black-bellied Tern and River Tern are recorded on that river Ayeyarwaddy.

On the way to Mt.Victoria : White-rumped Falcon, Great Slaty Woodpecker, White-bellied woodpecker, Greater Yellownape, Lesser Yellownape, Common Flameback, Himalayan Flameback, Greater Flameback, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Sport-breasted woodpecker are recorded on the way to Mt. Victoria from Bagan. Alexandrine, Grey-headed, Blossom-headed and Red-breasted Parakeets are easy to see on the way. Rufous Treepies, Red-headed Trogon, Grey-throated Babbler, Golden-fronted Leafbirds, Swinhoe’s Minivets, Scarlet Minivet, Ashy Minivet, Small Minivet, Lineated Barbetm Red-billed Blue Magpie, Gray Treepie, Crimson Sunbird, Mrs. Gould’s Sunbird are easy to fine on the way.

Mt.Victoria : Key birds are White-browed Nuthatch, Burmese Tit, Mount Victoria Babax ( split from Chinese Babax), Black-headed Shrike-babbler, near-endemic Chin Hills Wren-babbler, Himalayan Cutia, Spot-breasted Scimitar-babbler, Sickle-billed Scimitar-babblers and Large Scimitar-babbler, Black-bibbed Tit, Crested Finchbill, Yellow-billed Blue Magpie, Fire-capped Tit, Yellow-bellied Flowerpecker, Black-throated Prinia, Brown Bush-warbler, White-browed Shrike-babbler, Green Shrike-babbler, Sported Wren-babbler, near-endemic Brown-capped Laughingthrush, Black-throated Prinia ( Hill Prinia ), Himalayan-buzzard, Oriental Honey-buzzard, Black Eagle and Mountain Hawk-eagles, Oriental Hobby, Collared Falconet, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Crested Goshawk, Ashy Woodpigeon, Mountain Imperial-pigeon, Yellow- footed Green-Pigeon, Wedge-tailed green-Pigeon , Large Hawk Cuckoo, Hodgson’s Hawk Cuckoo, Eurasian Cuckoo, Great Barbet, Golden-throated Barbet, Lineated Barbet, Blue-throated Barbet, Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, Stripe-breasted Woodpecker, Crimson-breasted Woodpecker, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Bay Woodpeckers. About 300 Species are recorded only in Kalaw.

Inle Lake : Jerdon’s Bushchat, Collared Myna and Rufous-rumped Grassbird are key species on the lake. White-vented Myna, Crested Myna, Common Myna. Jungle Mynas, Bluethroat, Clamorous Reed-Warbler, Oriental Reed-warblers, Plain Prinia, Yellow-bellied Prinias, Striated Grassbird, Easten Stonechats, Purple Swamphen, Common Coot, Common Moorhen, Ruddy-breasted and Black-tailed Crakes, Pheasant-tailed and Bronze-winged Jacanas, Cinnamon and Yellow Bitterns, Sport-billed Ducks, Gulls, Egrets and Pond-herons, Swamphen, Glossy Ibis, Northern Pintail, Gray-headed Lapwing, Marsh Sandpiper, Common and Pintail Snipe, Red Avadavat, Scaly-breasted Munia, Yellow Wagtail, Citrine Wagtail, White Wagtail are easy to see on the lake also.

  Time for Birding   From October to April are recommended, the best time will be on November, December, January and February.
  Weather Info:   October to April will be hot in day time but it will be cold in the early morning and late evening, especially at Kalaw, Inle Lake and Mt. Victoria ( 25oC- 35oC at day time and 4oC to10oC at night time ). It will be rain from July to September.
  Recommend Group Size   Private or group tour is recommended. Not more than 4 Pax is the best for Myanmar bird photo tours.

  Meals Info:   Lunch box is recommend for whole day birding at Mt.Victoria. You can choose good Chinese or European meals at other big cites.
